And because I am a woman, I know that which is why I would like to share to you some tips in helping you slim your waist without all the fuss that most people had to go through just to have a slimmer tummy! You may or may not follow them (it all depends on you) but these are just simple stuff you can do to help you get started in achieving the slim waist that you want!
1. Eat Right!
You don’t want another crash diet to get you slim or would you? Eating healthy food will give you the body that you want. Better remember these things and make sure they are part of your diet program:
- Eat whole, unprocessed organic foods which are closest to their natural state as possible.
- Have a high fiber intake to help glycemic and appetite control thus maintain a more balanced blood sugar.
- Consume high nutrient density food choices instead of nutrient deficient processed foods.
- Have a moderate amount of high quality protein in each of your meals.
- Have a healthy fat intake from seeds, nuts, avocados, fish oil, organic eggs, olive oils, virgin coconut oil, and other healthy resources; these help balance your hormones and control your appetite.
- Eat fruits and plenty of vegetables and make them your main source of carbohydrates instead of grains.
Once your body has adjusted to the food listed above, everything in your diet will fall into place. You will not have cravings for junk food or sweets since your body already receives the nutrients that it needs.
Who ever said getting a slim tummy is easy? You do need to exercise in order to burn off all those unwanted fat! You need to break a sweat in order to reveal those flat abs and great body!
- A full body workout is needed in order to have a slim waist. Focusing on abdominal exercises only will not give you the best effect.
- Basic bodyweight exercises and body stabilizing exercises are needed in a full body workout.
- Cardio exercises do not guarantee fat loss. Resistance training can help burn more fat!
- Anaerobic exercises such as speed rope jumping, hill sprints, wind sprints, and swimming sprints are great complements to resistance training compared to cardio exercises.
- Bodyweight and free weight exercises help burn fat and tone your muscles especially those on your tummy!
Exercising might be a turn-off for some people but if you want to achieve your goal which is to have a slim tummy, you know that these exercises would do you good!
3. Live a Good Lifestyle!
All those dieting and exercising will never be effective if you have a poor lifestyle! You need to discipline yourself and make sure that you will not take in excess of anything. As much as possible, better stop smoking and drinking since they have bad side effects on your body.
Prioritize your fitness and health and enjoy them too! Feeling good comes easily if you live a good life!
